Day 19: Buenos Aires

Today arrived in Buenos Aires and got a warm welcome at our hostel (Hostel Zola) with breakfast! So nice of them!

After breakfast we went looking for the tourist hop on - hop off bus. Never thought I would ever go on a bus like that, but my father wanted it to be able to see as much as possible of the city. It actually was pretty nice! We have seen a lot and when we wanted we could hop off at certain points! We also got headphones so we could hear some info about the spots we were passing by.

We first hopped off at the cemetery Recoleta. It was so bizarre walking around there and between all those mausoleums. Some of them were old and sort of broken where you could see the coffins being dusty and dirty. Some looked really new (only 2 mausoleums are still active in use) and others were like mini churches. Amazing to see!

And then there was this tree... I have never ever seen a tree this big! It even had poles where the branches needed to lean on because of its size! Just WOW :O

We hopped of at several points and walked around. For what we have seen, it is an awesome and beautiful city!

Tomorrow the last day for my father and then I'm alone...
